Singer/songwriter and recording artist Jon Bauer has received eight GMA Canada Covenant Award nominations, including nods for three of the highest honors Artist of the Year, Album of the Year and Male Vocalist of the Year, it was recently announced.

In addition, Bauer's latest critically-acclaimed recording, The Light In Us, is nominated for Praise & Worship Album of the Year, while the project's "Say Something" is nominated for Song of the Year and Pop Song of the Year. "Starts With Us" earned a nod for Recorded Song of the Year, and "Where The Sidewalk Ends," co-penned with Rusty Varenkamp, is nominated for Inspirational Song of the Year. Both tracks are also featured on The Light In Us, which bowed earlier this year.
